Our Queensland mining operations are Moranbah North, Callide, Capcoal, Foxleigh and Dawson mines, and we have one operating mine at Drayton in New South Wales.

Anglo American began operating in Australia in 2000

Since then we have grown to become the country's fourth biggest producer of coal and its number two exporter of metallurgical coal. With our strong strategy and focus on sustainable development, we aim to deliver returns and growth to our shareholders while making a contribution to our local communities. We are also a member of the Australian Coal Association’s Coal 21 – an industry fund that promotes the use of advanced technologies to reduce or eliminate greenhouse gas emissions associated with using coal.
