Capcoal operates two underground mines, and two open cut mines in the heart of the Bowen Basin in Central Queensland.

Dawson mine is one of Queensland’s leading export coal producers, located in the Dawson Valley, at the southern end of the Bowen Basin.

Foxleigh is an open-cut mine and employs about 250 people. We acquired the majority shareholding of Foxleigh mine in February 2008.

Moranbah North is an underground longwall mining operation which began operating in 1998.
