Surveying
Graduate Surveyors with Anglo Coal Australia will be able to apply and grow their surveying skills in the real mining environment at both underground and open cut mine sites as they progress through the training program. Working under the direction of senior mine surveyors, they will develop the practical skills and confidence required in their future careers.
During their two year program, graduates will be exposed to:
- Safety management, risk management and incident investigation
- Exploration and Production Surveying
- Stock measurement
- Plan preparation, volume reporting and reconciliation
- Lease and Tenure Work
- Civil works and hydrology
- Mine planning
- Environmental Planning and Cultural Heritage
- Personal Development and Team Management
- Hazard management (eg gas drainage, slope stability)
- Commercial processes ( eg contract management)
