How To Apply Existing Applicants

Thank you for your interest in working with Anglo Coal Australia. 

Once you have placed an application over Anglo Coal’s website you are able to check the progress/status of your application, by logging into your personal profile using the ‘Existing applicant sign-in’ section of our website.  In this section, you can also change your personal details, attach a new resume, change your password or withdraw your application if required.

You can login to your Existing Applicant Profile using the following instructions:

  • Go to www.anglocoal.com.au
  • Select ‘Existing Applicant Sign-in’ from the drop down menu.
  • Once you are in this screen, it will ask you to enter your email address (the same one that you used on your application) and to enter a password.
  • If you do not already have a password, please select ‘forgotten password’ to reset the password and have a new one emailed to you.  Please retain your new password so that you can continue to login and check your profile in the future.  Once you have your new password, go back onto our website, and use it along with your email address to log into your profile.

How do I check the progress of my application?

When you are in your profile, you will notice that it lists the jobs you have applied for.  To check the status of your application select ‘view application’ beside the job you wish to check, and the status will be listed at the top of that page.  This screen also gives you the option to view your application, or withdraw your application if you no longer wish to be considered for the position.  To return home to the first page of your profile, select ‘back to home’.

How do I change my personal details?

If you change your address, phone number, email address or other details after applying for a position, you will need to update your details in your profile.  You can do this by selecting the ‘Update profile’ link in your profile.  Once you have finished editing your details, click on ’save’ and your details will be updated on all of your applications.

How to I update my resume?

If you need to update some information on your resume, you have the ability to add a new resume to your profile on the website, which will automatically update all of your on-line applications.  You will need to update your resume on your computer first before performing before you attach it to the website.  To do this, select the ‘Update resume’ link in your profile, and select ‘Attach’ to bring up the browsing window, which enables you to find your updated resume on your computer.  Once you have found your resume in your system, click on ‘Open’ and then click ‘save’ to attach the new resume.  This will bring you back to the ‘Update Resume’ screen where you click ‘save’ again.  Your old resume will be automatically deleted and replaced with the new one once you hit the save button.

Please note; if you select ‘Remove account’ from your ‘Existing applicant profile’ you will delete all of your records and any applications that have been placed with Anglo Coal Australia.  Please be certain that you wish to do this, before you perform this action, as applications cannot be recovered.
