Anglo invests to develop CO2 capture technology based on algae synthesis

Anglo American, one of the world’s leading mining companies, today announced the acquisition of a stake of more than 20 per cent in Australian-based MBD Energy, which will soon commence trials of leading-edge carbon capture and conversion technology using algal synthesisers at three of Australia’s largest greenhouse gas emitting coal fired power plants.


ACA calls for CPRS to be amended

Anglo Coal Australia (ACA) CEO Seamus French today called for the Federal Government to amend its proposed Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme (CPRS) and provide fair transitional assistance for the coal industry to avoid further job losses.


ACA Group donates to Victorian bushfire recovery

Global mining group Anglo American has teamed up with employees from its Australian subsidiaries Anglo Coal Australia (ACA) and steel manufacturing and distribution group Scaw Metals to raise $130,000 AU to go towards Victorian bushfire recovery projects, including a donation of 115,000 AU towards the Australian Red Cross Victorian Bushfire Appeal.


ACA Organisation and Workforce Review Outcomes

Dawson Seamgas ACA Calling for Expressions of Interest
